What Are Gentle Reset Daily Exfoliating Pads?

Formulated in Korea for everyday use wherever you are, these pads feature a proprietary blend of AHAs, PHAs and skin-loving ingredients to help even skin tone and improve skin texture.

We soaked our formula into dual-sided pads, allowing you to customize the level of exfoliation you receive. Swipe the smooth side over your face, neck and décolletage to let the chemical exfoliator do the heavy lifting, breaking down dead skin cells and allowing them to slough off to reveal brighter, smoother skin. Use the textured side for added physical exfoliation to buff away rough patches and dry skin.

Key Ingredients

AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids): These powerhouse acids gently exfoliate the skin, smoothing and improving skin texture over time. Gentle Reset Daily Exfoliating Pads contain three different types of AHAs, Glycolic, Lactic and Mandelic Acids, to deliver strong results while still being gentle on the skin. Each of these acids have their own unique benefits:

Glycolic Acid has a small molecular weight, allowing it to deeply penetrate the skin to brighten, improve texture and help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
Lactic Acid gently exfoliates and helps improve tone.
Mandelic Acid has is known for its antibacterial properties, making it ideal for acne-prone skin.

PHAs (polyhydroxy acids): Gentle Reset Daily Exfoliating Pads contain Gluconolactone, a large molecular weight PHA that hydrates while it exfoliates, making it great for sensitive skin. It also has antioxidant properties and can support the skin barrier.

Skin Soothing Complex: In addition to using gently effective chemical exfoliators, these pads are formulated with four soothing ingredients to prevent irritation. Bai Wei, Hollyhock and Heartleaf Extracts soothe, balance and comfort sensitive skin, while Aloe Leaf Water helps relieve visible redness and supports the skin barrier.

Hydrators: Glycerin, the superpowered humectant, attracts moisture and supports the skin barrier, providing lasting dryness relief that helps skin feel soft and supple. The formula also features Betaine, a naturally derived humectant that pairs well with exfoliants to help balance hydration and buffer any potential irritation.

They can be used once a day, in either your morning or nighttime skincare routine. If you have especially sensitive skin, we recommend using the pads once or twice a week, slowly working your way up to daily use.

If you’re already using a retinol product, like our Midnight Ritual Retinol Renewal Serum, we recommend alternating use of your retinol and exfoliating products to help prevent your skin from becoming irritated. For example, you could use Gentle Reset Daily Exfoliating Pads in the AM or PM on Monday, then Midnight Ritual Retinol Renewal Serum on Tuesday night, and repeat that cycle throughout the week.

Pro Tips for Using Gentle Reset Daily Exfoliating Pads

We like going in with the smooth side first to coat the skin in the exfoliating formula. Then, if you’re looking for an added boost of exfoliation, follow with the textured side to buff away dead skin cells on areas where you’re feeling flaky or congested. Be sure to avoid the delicate skin of the eye area!

Each pad is soaked in a generous amount of our skin-loving formula, so once you’re done exfoliating your face, swipe them over your neck and décolletage. You can also use them on your hands, congested areas on your body, KP bumps on the back of your arms, or on your bikini line to target ingrown hairs.
