Jet Lag Mask is coming back — with an upgrade!
We are thrilled to share that our award-winning, iconic hydrating mask will be back in stock this month. Our upgraded gentle formula will have all of the qualities you’ve come to expect from Jet Lag Mask — including deeply nourishing and hydrating benefits, thanks to a power trio of Niacinamide, Glycerin and Hyaluronic Acid — plus adjustments to reduce potential skin sensitivity. These changes include:
- Removal of all fragrance, including essential oils
- Addition of new skin-soothing, calming ingredients including Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Chamomile (Bisabolol) and Comfrey (Allantoin)
We have also established new manufacturing protocols using OTC-level guidelines to ensure each step in the production process is compliant with the highest of standards.
In addition to the above, we have doubled-down on our commitment to sustainability. Jet Lag Mask will still be in its fully recyclable aluminum tube, plus will now be housed in an eco-friendly, tree-free outer carton made from 90% sugar cane stalks. These stalks are converted into paper fiber (instead of being tossed in a landfill or burned) after being processed for sugar.

How exactly has the Jet Lag Mask formula changed?
All fragrance, including essential oils, have been removed and new soothing ingredients, including Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Chamomile (Bisabolol) and Comfrey (Allantoin), have been added.
Will upgraded Jet Lag Mask feel the same as the original formula?
Yes! Our testing indicates that the texture, consistency, application and performance is comparable to the original formula (the upgraded formula might even feel a touch smoother and silkier). The upgraded formula no longer has the slightly cooling/tingling effect that came from the peppermint and cornmint oils in the original formula.
Will upgraded Jet Lag Mask smell the same as the original formula?
Jet Lag Mask is now fragrance-free, so it no longer has a slight minty fragrance.
What are the key ingredients in upgraded Jet Lag Mask?

The upgraded Jet Lag Mask features an icon on the outer packaging that reads “Updated Formula”. It also has a label on the tube that reads “Updated Formula”.

Is upgraded Jet Lag Mask “clean”?
Yes! Jet Lag Mask continues to be free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oils and an exhaustive list of other no-no ingredients. It is part of the Clean at Sephora program and is also vegan and fragrance-free.
Is upgraded Jet Lag Mask cruelty-free?
Yes, Jet Lag Mask is cruelty-free, as are all other Summer Fridays products.
What kind of sensitivity testing has been done on upgraded Jet Lag Mask?
Jet Lag Mask has undergone and passed “RIPT” by an independent clinical laboratory. RIPT (Repeat Insult Patch Testing) involves several applications of a product to a broad segment of human testers, under careful clinical supervision, to determine whether any sensitivity or irritation is caused by a product.
What is the price of upgraded Jet Lag Mask?
The price has not changed. It will continue to sell for $48 (US) for the 2.25oz/64g size and $25 (US) for the 1oz/28g mini size.
