EU/EEA right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, then in addition to our returns terms above you have a statutory right to withdraw from your order.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal. You may withdraw from your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The period expires 14 days after the day on which you (or a third party you nominate, other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the last item in your order. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
How to withdraw. To exercise your right, you can:
- Use our online cancellation form: Français or, Deutsch; or
- Complete the model withdrawal form and email it to help@summerfridays.com; or
- Send any other clear statement of your decision to withdraw, by email to help@summerfridays.com.
The model withdrawal form and full instructions are here: Right of withdrawal. To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your communication before the 14-day period expires. We will confirm receipt without undue delay.
Return shipping costs. We cover the direct cost of returning the goods. We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse your return postage.
Refunds. We will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of standard delivery (but not any extra cost of a non-standard delivery option you chose), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We refund using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied proof of sending them, whichever is earlier. Import duties and customs charges paid directly to the carrier or customs authority on delivery are not refundable by us; depending on your country, you may be able to reclaim them from your customs authority.
Condition of the goods. You may handle the goods only as you would in a shop. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Exceptions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain goods, including sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery (e.g., certain skincare/cosmetics), and goods that are made to order or personalised.
This statutory right is in addition to, and does not affect, the returns terms set out above.
